Derek Packer is a one person technology and marketing consultancy based in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, working with small businesses across Palm Beach County, Broward County and the Treasure Coast, and remotely by video. The work falls into two areas: marketing, which covers websites, brand, messaging, search and social; and technology, which covers apps, files, dashboards, automations and the systems a business runs on. Clients have included a food truck, a personal trainer, an artist's online store, a condominium association and a car dealership.

I like taking a problem that looks complicated and making it simple to understand. I like working with people who are very good at what they actually do, and who do not want this to become a second job.
I am interested in how the behind the scenes works. I like helping someone get out what they have been trying to say, and watching them feel the relief of finally finding the words.
I like the moment a design makes your mind stop. I like when something works with nothing unnecessary in the way. Organizing a website and organizing a message are the same job.
